How To Make A Vegan Vanilla Fault Line Cake From Scratch

Ingredients for light and airy vegan vanilla sponge:

 • 400 gram self-raising flour 

• 1.5 teaspoons baking powder 

• 1.5 teaspoons baking soda

• 3/4 teaspoon salt

• 180 gram granulated sugar 

• 400 ml non dairy milk (I used Oat milk)

• 160 ml sunflower oil 

• 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract 

Ingredients for vegan buttercream:

• 1 Cup Vegetable Shortening 

• 1 Cup Vegan Margarine 

• 3 Cups confectioner’s sugar- Sifted

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 

• 1 tablespoon non dairy milk (I used Oat milk)
