Pear Gingerbread Smoothie Bowl

The flavours of autumn and winter where everything is rich and spicy.

I’m not sure if this recipe is technically gingerbread as I’ve added star anise and cardamom…… But these spices make these pears come alive!!!

Recipe:

2 ripe pears chopped
1/2 cup of oats
1/2 avocado
1 Tbsp nut butter
1/2 tsp ground star anise
1/2 tsp ground cardamom
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
pinch sea salt
squeeze of lemon
125ml water

Toppings:
Roasted flaked almonds
rasins or dried cranberries
sprinkle more spices

Blend until smooth, pour into bowl, and add toppings
